parodia.dev
Games, music, lego, and an internet nobody owns.
A small, federated community for people who play, listen, and build, and who want an internet nobody owns. Run by the people in it, not a company. No ads, no algorithm, no feed deciding what you see.
Everything running here, live.
Why this place exists.
Parodia is a small, invite-only community built around the stuff we actually do for fun. Playing games, digging up music, building with lego. And around an internet that belongs to the people using it, not a company.
Everything runs on open source software that federates with the broader internet. Your account here can follow, and be followed by, people on Mastodon, Misskey, and hundreds of other servers. You are not locked in, and no single company owns the network.
The server lives in Europe, run by the community rather than a company. There are no ads, no growth targets, and nobody optimising your feed.
People who lose a weekend to a new release or an old favorite. Who follow the music wherever it goes. Who'll happily lose an afternoon to a pile of bricks. And who'd rather their internet wasn't owned by anyone.
A few honest mismatches.
- People who want a large audience
- People who plan to self-promote or sell things
- People who won't read the rules before posting
- People who are here because every other place banned them
